Learning takes place in lectures, tutorials, practicals, special projects and hands-on and practical work experience when appropriate. Internet facilities are available at the college for research work, and the College library is available for the loan of textbooks. The Central Queensland University recognises our English language programme as satisfying the English Language proficiency requirements for entry to its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Under mutual recognition students are eligible to apply to any University in Australia to further their studies and the Universities will treat credits applications on an individual case-by-case basis.

We provide students with the information and opportunities to participate in a number of social activities throughout their course. These may include sporting activities, sightseeing, barbeques, river cruises, nature walks, parties, cultural events and festivals.

Work Opportunities and Visa Assistance
We help and assist our students find the job of their choice. Our Student Services team assists overseas students to gain a working permit during the period of their studies, helping students with any visa difficulties.

Work Experience
The Student Visa allows you to work 20 hours per week during the study term and full time during college holidays. Sydney provides good opportunities for part time and casual work. Rates of wages may range from AUD $12 to AUD $25 per hour for casual work depending on the job.

University Placement
As Registered Training Organization, we help students apply to the universities of their choice. Under the auspices of NSW Vocational Education Training Accreditation Board, all Certificates and Diplomas issued are recognised by the National Training Authority in Australia.
