Other attractions include theatre, museums, galleries and a vibrant night life. Beautiful countryside is on the doorstep and many historic towns are within reach as are the rugged Welsh mountains

Experience in EFL at home and abroad. Includes ESOL work for groups of immigrant workers; Ongoing work with Korean and other students; teaching posts in Ukraine, China, India, Nepal and Laos. Exam preparation work for IELTS and TOEFL; Business English; Classroom work with Year 5's upwards (Ages 9-14); Limited experience with Summer School work and activities.

Hobbies and Interests

Music (jazz, blues, alternative rock, classical, opera); theatre; film; architecture; social, economic and environmental sustainability; international development education; hiking, mountaineering, athletics, cycling, etc!

I can provide a wide range of short tours to places of cultural and historic interest within reach of Cheltenham, all of which would be designed as far as possible to suit the interests of the student. Some examples would be: The Cotswolds, The ancient Forest of Dean, the Malvern Hills and Malvern town; Bristol; Bath; Stratford on Avon; Oxford; the great cathedral cities of Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester; Cirencester, Tewkesbury and Stow on the Wold. Depending on the time available and the wishes of the student, we could include a hiking and/or sightseeing trip to the mountains of Wales or a special visit to London.
