I am a cambridge qualified teacher of French (French as a foreigh language) and Spanish.I have worked in England for 9 years.I am currently working at College Derême / Lycée Supervielle in Oloron.

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy walking and cycling. My husband and I, we enjoy snowboarding.
We also like traveling and we had many opportunities to travel the world, discovering new cultures.

Accommodation

We have two students' bedrooms. Both located on the ground floor of the house. Both equipped with a double bed, and a desk. The bathroom and toilets are next door to the bedroom.

Excursions and Local Attractions

We live in a beautiful part of the world surrounded by the mountains'Les Pyrénées'. We are 2 minutes walk from the village center, shops, markets and restaurants. Arudy has got a south of France feel and its people are so welcoming! We are 30mns from ski resorts, and nearby is the beautiful Pyrenees National Park. Popular places to visit near Arudy: these include Laruns at 14 km and Oloron-Sainte-Marie at 17 km. Zoo d'Asson is a listed zoo or wildlife park at 13 km and Vallée d'Ossau is a listed site of natural beauty at 14 km. Also,the Petit train d'Artouste is a narrow gauge tourist railway situated in the French Pyrenees close to the Spanish border and some 55 km south of the town of Pau. The line runs high above the headwaters of the Gave d'Ossau, and provides access to the Lac d'Ossau, an artificial lake in the mountains at an altitude of over 2,000m.The Pic du Midi d'Ossau (2,884 m) is a mountain rising above the Ossau Valley.
